About Me

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Itai Eithan Shamir is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) by the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) specializing in transitioning individuals to an elevated personal and professional life with purpose, balance, and long lasting relationships.

Prior to entering the coaching world, Itai was the Senior Director of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee’s Women’s Health Empowerment Program and the Director and Grant Officer of the Jewish Coalition for Disaster Response. 

He moved to NYC in September 2000 to pursue a six months Global Internship Program at the United Nations’ Office of the Secretary General. This program led to a five years term at the Israeli Mission to the United Nations as an Advisor for Economic and Social Affairs, and the Mission’s Coordinator and Election Officer for all United Nations bodies. He also started the Mission’s Speakers Bureau. Itai received his BA in Economics and Management from the Tel Aviv College, and later on, his Masters in Business Administrations from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is also a certified mediator by the Israeli Mediation Center.

 Itai resides in New York City  and Key West with his partner and two mini Dachshunds, Jacob and Abraham. He loves theater, music, dance, and the Eurovision Song Contest that he attends on an annual basis!
